I’m Massimiliano "Max" Monterosso, a custom guitar builder specializing in handcrafted guitars designed for exceptional tone, playability, and aesthetics. I combine traditional luthiery with modern techniques to create one-of-a-kind acoustic and electric guitars tailored to each musician’s unique style and sound.

Thames is my modern take on the OM. Depending on the woods used and the top voicing, it can go from alternate thumb blues machine to intimate fingerstyle companion. I particularly like the combination of an Italian spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a rich, intimate sound.
